| TRANSFORMERS DIVISION - EMCO is one of the largest manufacturers of transformers in India, with a manufacturing capacity of 20,000 MVA and a very wide range of transformers in the country. Emco has ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certified plants, each with state-of-the-art manufacturing and sophisticated, fully computerised testing facilities as per IS, IEC, ANSI and other international standards. In addition to manufacturing distribution and power transformers up to 315 MVA, 400 kV, the company also makes transformers for special applications like furnace, rectifiers and locomotives. |

| PROJECTS DIVISION - EMCO undertakes turnkey EPC Projects in T&D Sector up to 765kV from design to commissioning, in Sub-stations including GIS, Industrial Switchyards and Power Distribution Systems. EMCO also undertakes upgradation and revamping of existing distribution systems and power evacuation system for power projects. EMCO has executed number of 400/220/132 kV Switchyards for various utilities across India. EMCO also has strategic tie-ups with international suppliers for Gas Insulated Sub-stations (GIS), Underground Cables (UG Cables) (220kV & above) and Low Loss Conductors (Gap – Type). |
