Automatic Power Factor Correction System
EMCO understands that commercial and industrial power consumers typically seek to control power factor deviations in order to achieve more efficient utilization of purchased electrical energy. To address this latent demand for efficient, reliable means to manage energy utilisation, EMCO presents an automatic factor correction system.
In any supply and distribution system, losses will occur as part of the normal transmission of electrical power through the system. A relatively poor power factor is typically generated by a significant phase difference between the voltage waveform and the current waveform at the load. These are typically found higher in industrial and commercial facilities.
As a matter of efficiency and cost-savings, the improvement of power factor close to unity levels, represents not only a more efficient utilization of power but a reduced cost of operation. EMCO power factor correction system uses intelligent switching of capacitors to stabilize power output
